Additional military support from Lithuania has reached its destination in Ukraine, Arvydas Anusauskas said.
Ukraine has received another batch of M113 armored personnel carriers from Lithuania. Of these, 10 are equipped with mortars, said Lithuanian Defense Minister Arvydas Anusauskas in Twitter on Monday, November 14th.
“Additional military support from Lithuania has reached its destination in Ukraine. 12 M113 units (10 units with 120-mm self-propelled mortar and two units with fire control radar) and ammunition,” he wrote.
Anusauskas noted that Lithuania has already sent 62 M113s for various purposes to Ukraine.
As you know, Lithuania systematically supports the Armed Forces of Ukraine for millions of euros. In addition to the M113, the Ukrainian military received 105 mm howitzers, mortars, other weapons, drones, thousands of winter uniforms and ammunition.
Lithuania is also refurbishing German PzH2000 self-propelled howitzers for the Ukrainian army.
