Residents of the Luhansk region believe in the Armed Forces of Ukraine and hope that the region will be liberated from occupation. Partisans are also active in the region. This was announced on Sunday, November 13, by the head of the military administration of the Lugansk region, Sergei Gaidai, in an interview on Dmitry Gordon’s YouTube channel.
He noted that the partisans inform the Armed Forces of Ukraine about the movements of equipment and personnel of the occupying forces, and also inform about the location of enemy warehouses.
“We also have cases when the occupiers woke up in the morning, and a large number of settlements were sealed with leaflets against the occupiers or simply in support of Ukraine. We have examples when the switch cabinets were burned on the railway. They cannot be returned for some time, therefore, trains cannot be moved from one direction to another,” he said.
Gaidai also recalled the partisan who threw a bottle of Molotov cocktail at the headquarters with those mobilized in the village of Artema.
“The partisan movement is working in the Luhansk region. Maybe a little more in some places, maybe in other places. But, thank God, that such a movement exists and it benefits our troops,” the chairman insisted of UVA.
