Belgium transferred a EUR4.96 million grant for Ukraine to a specially created and managed IMF account.
IMF Managing Director Kristalina Georgieva reportedthat Belgium transferred a grant of EUR 4.96 million for Ukraine to an account specially created and administered by the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
“It’s good to see that the international community continues to come together to help stabilize Ukraine’s economy,” he said.
Georgieva thanked Belgium for the funds provided.
Earlier, the IMF Managing Director noted that the task of the IMF for Ukraine is to determine the necessary volumes of financing for Ukraine in 2023 and guarantee their allocation.
Recall that the NBU announced the date of the new IMF mission to Ukraine. It starts on November 11th and runs until November 17th.
