The President emphasized that wherever electricity is cut, it must happen according to published schedules.
Currently, the restriction of electricity supplies continues in 15 regions and Kyiv. This was announced on Wednesday, November 9, by the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky.
He noted that the restoration of critical infrastructure, especially energy, after the Russian strikes is one of the priority issues at the Headquarters of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief, which took place the previous day.
He emphasized that the blackout for now should be carried out according to schedule, without an emergency shutdown.
“Wherever blackouts occur, they must occur according to published schedules. Please, if your home or street violates today’s schedule, notify local authorities and representatives of the electricity company serving the you. They should correct the situation and stay on schedule,” he said.
Earlier, Ukraenergo reported that on November 10, scheduled shutdowns will be applied across Ukraine. The largest amount of restrictions will be introduced in Kyiv, Kyiv, Chernihiv, Cherkasy, Zhytomyr regions.
It can be recalled that DTEK said that the emergency and hourly blackouts in the central and northern regions of Ukraine continue due to the lack of electricity. If the Russian occupiers do not retake the infrastructure, it is possible to repair the damaged power lines within two weeks.
