Two years ago, the bridge was overhauled, but in order not to let the invaders deep into the region, it was blown up.
One of the largest bridges in the Sumy region, which was destroyed as a result of the military invasion, has been restored. This was reported by the head of sumy ova Dmitry Zhivitsky.
“The 400-meter handsome man across the desna once again connects the whole region with the Chernihiv region through the shortest route. Now people do not have to overcome more than fifty kilometers to get from one coast to another. The logistics artery is very, very important for the work of businessmen, farmers, emergency services. After all, with bad weather conditions, a road is usually almost impossible ,” the message said.
Zhyvitsky notes that it was not the invaders who blew up the bridge, but the Ukrainians – to stop the enemy.
“Two years ago, the bridge was overhauled, but in order not to let the Russian bastards deep into the region, it was blown up,” the head of OVA reports.
“The inhabitants began to make a temporary crossing, build Installed, six span structures were mounted, sidewalks were equipped, fenders and fences. I thank the settlements of Shostka and Novgorod-Seversk, who took an active part in restoring the bridge,” wrote Zhivitsky.
Earlier it was reported that the people of Kiev returned to the houses that were repaired after the shelling.
