On the eve of Easter, there will be a curfew throughout Ukraine. Worship services will be online. This was announced on Saturday, April 23, by Deputy Head of the Office of the President Kyrylo Tymoshenko in the Telegram.
“Today, April 23, from 19:00 to 5:00 of April 24, the regions of Donetsk, Zaporozhye, Luhansk, Mykolaiv, Kharkiv, Kherson will be closed to the movement of citizens. In the central part and in the western regions, the curfew will start later – from 23:00 and will also last 5:00, ”Timshenko said.
He added that Easter services are held online. At 11:30 p.m., the national marathon will air a service from St. Louis. Michael’s Cathedral, and at 7:30 am – from the Greek Catholic Patriarchal Cathedral of the Resurrection of Christ in Kyiv. This service will also be aired on the Culture channel.
As reported, some regions of Ukraine canceled the curfew for Easter. It is about the Odessa, Lvov and Khmelnytsky regions.
