This equipment will allow the Armed Forces to operate effectively over the next few months, Defense Secretary Ben Wallace said.
The UK will send cold sleep kits and heated tents to the Ukrainian military. British Defense Minister Ben Wallace said this, Ukrinform reports on Wednesday, November 9.
“With winter approaching, this equipment will enable the Armed Forces to operate effectively in the coming months. Together with the training program and the provision of lethal assistance, it demonstrates our commitment to ensuring that the average soldier Ukrainians are well-trained and well-equipped, and have a high chance to fight and determine your own future,” said Wallace.
In total, the new British aid package will include 12,000 winter sleep kits and 150 heated tents. Also, in mid-December, Ukraine will receive 25 thousand sets of winter clothes.
It is noted that this equipment will be provided in addition to the 7,000 sets of clothing that the Ukrainian military trained in the UK will receive.
Last week it became known that about 9,000 Ukrainian recruits received more than 40 pieces of standard and winter equipment from the British army.
