Russian propaganda is trying to turn African countries against the European Union. This was announced on Monday, November 7, by the head of the Czech Foreign Ministry, Jan Lipavsky, in a speech at the opening of a two-day conference within the framework of the Czech presidency in the European Union, reports Anews.
He emphasized that it is very important to maintain good relations between African countries and the European Union, as well as to more actively fight Russian propaganda in Africa.
Lipavsky said that Russia is now conducting a propaganda campaign in Africa to turn countries on the continent against the European Union.
He urged EU countries to fight it more actively.
Earlier it was reported that in October, the first tour of the head of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry to African countries in the history of Ukrainian diplomacy took place. This trip has become an important element of the African strategy developed by the Foreign Ministry on behalf of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
It should be noted that Russian coal shipments were redirected to Turkey, India, China, as well as African countries after the introduction of its import ban.
