The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky again recalled the conditions for the start of negotiations with Russia.
The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky named five conditions for the start of negotiations with the Russian Federation. About what these conditions are he said on Monday, November 7, in a video message to the participants of the Climate Summit in Egypt.
According to him, everyone should consider the need to stop the aggression of the Russian Federation as they take their climate problems seriously.
“The main thing for us is to inform the world about Russia’s continued aggression, about the destabilizing influence that Russia has around the world. When the world is focused on fighting the crises of war, energy and food , the destruction of familiar international relations, the climate agenda is clearly suffering. And the destruction of the climate is impossible to pause somehow,” stressed the head of state.
Zelensky also named five conditions under which negotiations with Russia are possible:
-
restoration of territorial integrity;
-
respect for the UN Charter;
-
compensation for all losses caused by war;
-
punishment of every war criminal;
-
ensuring that the invasion does not happen again.
“These are absolutely clear conditions,” added the head of state.
Earlier, the adviser to the head of the Presidential Administration stated that the Russian aggressors understand only the force of arms. There will be no negotiation in the traditional sense with them.
It should be noted, according to media reports, the United States and NATO do not rule out the start of peace talks in the war in Ukraine if Ukraine regains Kherson.
