Refugees from Ukraine in Poland have to pay for accommodation in centers provided by the state. This was reported to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Poland.
According to government plans, in the first three months the payment is 50%, then 100% must be paid.
While the bill is in the preparation stage. Payment for accommodation is planned to be collected from mid-November.
Paweł Schefernaker, deputy interior minister and government commissioner for refugees, said that Poland cannot cover all the costs of maintaining refugees, so the authorities were forced to introduce a fee.
