In the past 24 hours, DTEK power engineers restored electricity to 3,600 families in 8 settlements of Donetsk and Dnipropetrovsk regions, which lost power due to shelling by Russian invaders. The company’s press service reported this on Sunday, November 6.
“On November 5, emergency repair teams of DTEK Donetsk Grids were able to restore networks and equipment in 4 settlements of the Donetsk region affected by the fighting. As a result, almost 2,700 families have electricity again. Specialists of The energy company is making every effort to restore the power supply as soon as possible, as soon as the shelling and military give permission to carry out work,” the statement said.
In Dnipropetrovsk region, electricity supply was restored for 838 families in 4 settlements.
Rinat Akhmetov’s company noted that at the moment 91 settlements remain without electricity supply, where restoration teams do not have access to the damage areas. Power engineers promise to restore electricity to all residents of the region as soon as they receive permission to work from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
In just one month, Rinat Akhmetov’s energy companies restored light to 1.3 million families in four regions of Ukraine.
As a reminder, it was previously reported that as a result of Russian terrorist attacks on civilian infrastructure, several DTEK power plants were disabled.
