The current unrest in Iran is a manifestation of a hybrid war on the part of the West, the country’s authorities believe.
Iran gained its independence 43 years ago thanks to the Islamic Revolution. President Ebrahim Raisi said this in response to US leader Joe Biden’s words to “free Iran,” Tasnim reported on Friday, November 4.

“The US president should know that Iran was liberated 43 years ago and is determined to fight for its freedom,” Raisi said at a rally in Tehran marking the 43rd anniversary of the US embassy takeover.
He believes that the US aims at the national unity and integrity of Iran.
“Today, the United States has set its sights on (Iran’s) security, tranquility and strength. We must be vigilant and cautious in this area,” Raisi said, warning that involvement in the conflict in Iran would serve enemy strategy.
In turn, Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei believes that the current unrest in the country is a manifestation of a hybrid war.
“The events that have taken place in recent weeks are not just street riots. The enemy has launched a hybrid war. The enemy, namely the United States, the Zionist regime, some treacherous and evil powers in Europe and some groups are came on the scene. with all their abilities,” he said. .
On Thursday, Joe Biden said the US would “liberate Iran” soon, without giving any details.
It will be remembered that since mid-September, protests have not stopped in Iran, the cause of which was the death of a 22-year-old Kurdish girl, Mahsa Amini. She was detained by the morality police on September 13 in Tehran for allegedly wearing the hijab incorrectly and died in hospital a few days later.
The first protests broke out in Iran on September 16 during Mahsa’s funeral ceremony in his hometown of Sekkez and in the administrative center of Iranian Kurdistan, the city of Senendej, and then spread to most of the country. There are dead and injured, but the exact number is unknown, as authorities restrict Internet and media activities. Local human rights activists reported at least 185 dead.
The United States and several other Western countries condemned the crackdown on the protests and imposed new sanctions against Iran.
