Belarus already has a satellite that scanned an object 35 centimeters from a height of 500-600 kilometers, said Alexander Lukashenko.
Belarus and Russia reached an agreement on the creation of a joint satellite constellation, including for military purposes. This was said by the formal leader of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, BelTA said on Friday, November 4.

“We are not only ready to launch a man into space, send our own astronaut. We will send him in the near future. We are building a spacecraft. We have agreed with Russia to create a joint group in space – spacecraft,” Lukashenka said.
He added that this would happen “not only for military purposes.”
“Russia is huge. And we managed to wedge ourselves into this program and together with the Russians we are creating this constellation of satellites. Now we have a satellite that scans an object 35 centimeters from height of 500-600 kilometers. Therefore, we are making big steps here,” added Lukashenka.
Recall that in September Lukashenka presented the first “Belarusian computer”. At the same time, he admitted that at the moment only 12% of Belarusians are on this computer.
