The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy today, November 2, met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation of Spain, Jose Manuel Albarez. This was reported by the press service of the President of Ukraine.
“I met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation of Spain, Jose Manuel Albarez. I thank Spain for the important humanitarian support, in particular, for the 30 modern ambulances handed over today. And also for the warm welcome of Ukrainians who were forced to leave because of the war in our country,” the statement said.
In addition, they discussed the transfer of air defense systems to Ukraine.
“Today the number one issue is the creation of an air shield to protect our critical and civilian infrastructure. Therefore, Spain’s decision to transfer air defense systems to Ukraine is very important to us,” Zelensky said.
It will be recalled that the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Spain, Jose Manuel Albarez, visited Makarov, Kyiv region, where he was shown the destruction due to the military days.
