It is possible to use emergency blackouts outside of stabilization shutdown schedules, DTEK warns.
There may be off-schedule power outages in some areas of Kyiv. This was reported by DTEK Kyiv Electric Grids on Facebook on Wednesday, November 2.
It is indicated that due to the attack of Russian aggressors on critical infrastructure, power grid overloads are still observed in some areas of Kyiv, in particular:
-
Obolon;
-
Grower;
-
Minsk massif;
-
Svyatoshino;
-
Academgorodok;
-
Belichi;
-
Southern Borshchagovka;
-
Hem;
-
Kurenevka.
“Therefore, it is possible to use emergency power outages outside the stabilization shutdown schedules. They are necessary to protect yourself from massive equipment failures. The electricity industry is making every effort to stabilize the situation at the end of this week,” the message said.
As reported, on November 2, hourly blackouts were introduced in Ukraine. Restrictions will apply in Kyiv, northern, central and eastern regions. It was later learned that an emergency blackout had begun in three regions.
Recall that the previous day in Kyiv, electricity was cut off schedule in a significant part of the city due to repairs.
