More than 10 million tons of food have already been exported from Ukrainian ports, Hulusi Akar said.
As part of the grain agreement, there are no problems with the release of ships under the Turkish flag, so they will continue. This was stated by the head of the Turkish Ministry of Defense, Hulusi Akar, the department’s press service reported the previous day.

“Until yesterday, ships that left Ukrainian ports and were sailing at sea continued their journey. There were no problems with the exit of ships under the Turkish flag. They will continue to leave,” the defense minister said.
Akar noted that more than 10 million tons of food have already been exported from Ukrainian ports. As for Russia’s suspension of participation in the grain initiative, the minister said that Turkey will continue its efforts to make the grain corridor functional.
“We all see that if this continues, if the transportation of grains stops, as a result, events can lead to serious problems of hunger in developing countries, an increase in prices and a breakdown in political stability. Immediately after the signing of the agreement, there was a serious drop in grain prices, which eased the situation We want it to continue in the same vein,” the Turkish minister stressed.
Remember, on October 29, Russia announced its withdrawal from the grain deal, allegedly due to Ukraine’s attack on Black Sea Fleet ships with drones in Crimea.
As noted by the Ukrainian Ambassador to Turkey, Vasily Bodnar, the grain agreement continues to work, because the withdrawal of the Russian Federation from the agreements does not mean that they are blocked.
