The invaders are using the same missile that, according to the British Ministry of Defense, hit the shopping center in Kremenchuk on June 27.
Russian war criminals have used Kh-32 missiles during mass attacks on civilian targets and critical infrastructure. This was announced on Wednesday, November 2, by the Russian propaganda news agency RIA Novosti, citing a source on its Telegram channel.
The report says that the strikes were carried out by Russian long-range bombers equipped with Kh-32 missiles, as the Russians themselves call them – “aircraft carrier killers.”
Note that the invaders have used such weapons against Ukraine before, but only once. In particular, according to the British Ministry of Defense, Kh-32 missiles were used to shoot down a shopping center in Kremenchug on June 27, which led to many casualties among the civilian population.
Experts noted that although the Kh-32 missile has some improved characteristics compared to its “progenitor” Kh-22, it is “not yet optimized for accurate engagement of ground targets, especially that in urban areas.”
The Kh-32 is a Russian air-to-surface cruise missile with a range of up to 1,000 km and a speed of 4,000–5,400 km/h.
The X-32 rocket is built on the X-22 body with a different, more powerful engine, while their geometric dimensions are identical. Instead of an autopilot, an automatic control system was installed.
It can be recalled that according to media reports, Iran is preparing to send approximately 1,000 more weapons to the Russian Federation. Among them are short-range ground-to-ground ballistic missiles.
It should be noted that the Armed Forces of Ukraine said that Ukraine has no effective means of protection against ballistic missiles, which the invaders could receive from Tehran.
