The Kremlin’s attempts to interfere in Moldova’s internal affairs are not new, the president said.
Moldovan President Maia Sandu accused Russian special services of trying to undermine the situation inside the country. He said this on Tuesday, November 1, in an interview with the Romanian channel Digi24.
At the same time, he noted that the Russians use Moldovan pro-Russian parties for this, which organize protests and riots in the country.
“It is the special services of the Russian Federation that are behind the organization of the latest protests in the country,” he said.

Sandu stressed that the Kremlin’s attempts to interfere in Moldova’s internal affairs are not new.
“We have evidence that the coalition of corrupt groups that stole a lot of money in Moldova, the Russian intelligence services and the pro-Russian parties in Moldova have one goal – to destabilize Moldova. They use to their advantage the difficulties faced by the citizens. We are determined to defend democracy” , emphasizing the President.
It should be noted that the Russian gas monopoly Gazprom confirmed the supply of only 5.7 million cubic meters of gas per day to Moldova in November, which is 51% of the volume agreed in the contract.
