“I spoke with French President Emmanuel Macron. I thanked him for the support already given and informed us about our needs, especially in defense. There should be an air shield for Ukraine – this is clearly stated now . We have agreed to hold two very important events. The first – in December in France : to consider in detail all the challenges of winter, from energy to finance, from weapons to protection of the sky. And the second event is to gather business in France and help Ukraine,” Zelensky said.
In addition, the European Commissioner for Energy, Kadri Simson, visited Kyiv today.
“We discussed the initiative to create a format like the military Ramstein, which will be able to work for our common security, but precisely in the plane of energy. Cash, technical support, transformers, generators, energy carriers – this is important for our defense. We will do everything to provide electricity and heat to the people this winter.
