The Ukrainian military continued to destroy the Russian invaders. On October 30, our soldiers successfully stopped the enemy’s attack in the Kharkov, Luhansk and Donetsk regions. The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this in the morning report on October 31.
The enemy tries to hold the temporarily occupied territories, concentrates his efforts on preventing the actions of the defense forces in certain directions, and does not stop conducting offensive operations in the direction of Bakhmut and Avdeevsky.
The enemy continued to shell the defense forces along the contact line, strengthening the lines in several directions and conducting aerial reconnaissance. Critical infrastructure and civilian homes are attacked in violation of International Humanitarian Law and the laws and customs of war.
Over the past day, the enemy launched four missiles and five air strikes, making more than 90 attacks from multiple launch rocket systems.
Enemy strikes were received by areas with more than 20 settlements. Among them are Kupyansk in Kharkiv region, Seversk in Donetsk region, Novaya Kamenka in Kherson region, and Bereznegovatoe and Ochakov in Mykolaiv region.
In the directions of Volyn and Polesye, the situation remains unchanged. Belarus supports the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against the Ukrainians. And Russia continues to transfer individual units to the territory of this country. The threat of missile strikes and the use of strike UAVs from the territory of Belarus remains.
During the day, the units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine repelled the attacks of the invaders in the areas of Zelenoe settlements, Kharkiv region; Belogorivka, Nikolaevka and Novoselovskoe in the Luhansk region; Avdiivka, Bakhmutskoe, Veseloe, Vodyane, Mayorsk, Maryinka and Novobakhmutovka of the Donetsk region.
According to updated information, the defeat of enemy manpower and equipment has been confirmed in the past few days. So, in the Kherson region, a convoy of enemy military equipment was destroyed, in Zaporizhzhia – a composition of ammunition, five units of weapons and military equipment of various types were destroyed and up to 120 soldier was injured.
The Aviation of the Defense Forces delivered 21 strikes on the enemy during the day, of which: 15 – on areas of concentration of weapons and military equipment, two – on platoon fortifications, and four – on systems positions of enemy air defense.
In the past day, soldiers of the missile forces and artillery hit the enemy’s command post and anti-aircraft missile launcher.
Recall that earlier in the command of the operation of the South it was reported that the Ukrainian defenders in the direction of Yuzhnobugsky in the past day destroyed dozens of enemy manpower.
