The communication between Putin and Erdogan on the “grain deal” has not been planned – Peskov

The Joint Coordination Center in Istanbul is clarifying the organization of work related to the suspension of Russia’s participation in the grain deal.

Communication between Putin and Erdogan over the suspension of Russia’s participation in the grain deal has not yet been planned. This was stated by Putin’s spokesman Dmitry Peskov, reports the Kremlin agency TASS.

“Contacts between Putin and Erdogan are not yet in the plans due to the suspension of Russia’s participation in the grain deal,” Peskov said.

At the same time, it is reported that Istanbul is clarifying further actions related to the statement of the Russian Foreign Ministry.

“At the Joint Coordination Center in Istanbul, they are clarifying the organization of work related to the suspension of Russia’s participation in the grain deal, a source said,” TASS wrote.

It will be recalled that Russia announced that it will stop participating in the implementation of the “grain agreement” allegedly because of the “terrorist attack” in Sevastopol Bay on Saturday morning. The Russian Defense Ministry announced that ships of the Black Sea Fleet involved in ensuring the security of the grain corridor were allegedly targets of the attack.

Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba said that Russia had found an enormous reason to withdraw from the “grain agreement”, and called on world states to demand that Russia stop the hunger games and return to its obligations.

The head of the Office of the President, Andriy Yermak, noted the primitiveness of Russian blackmail in everything, including in matters of food.
