The head of state noted that the power is off in Kyiv and in the region, in Zhytomyr region, Poltava region, in Rivne region, in Kharkiv region, Chernihiv region, Sumy region, Cherkasy region, in Kirovohrad region. There are also emergency shutdowns in other regions.
At the same time, Zelensky assured that the authorities are doing everything so that the state has the opportunity to reduce such closures.
“We work with partners every day to strengthen our air defense and our other defense capabilities. Every day we strengthen the protection of our critical infrastructure, especially energy,” he stressed.
It was previously reported that from October 31 in all regions of Ukraine they plan to conduct planned blackouts instead of emergencies.
Recall that on the night of October 27, as a result of an attack by invaders, a number of critical facilities in the Kyiv region were disabled.
