The Supreme Anti-Corruption Court decided on the arrest in absentia of the People’s Deputy of III-IX convocations Andriy Derkach. This was announced by the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office (SAP) on Thursday, October 27.
It is implied that the representative of the people is reasonably suspected of high treason and illegal enrichment.

By the decision of the court, the specified deputy, placed on the state list and internationally wanted. , was chosen as a measure of deterrence in the form of detention,” the report said.
It is noted that after the arrest of this person’s representative and his delivery to the place of investigation before the trial, the investigating judge will decide whether to apply this measure of detention or replace it with a softer one.
The SAP does not indicate the name of the representative of the people appearing in the case, but the department indicates the amount of 567 thousand dollars that he received from the special service of the Russian Federation. Earlier, this amount was mentioned in the case of Andriy Derkach.
In mid-September, Andrei Derkach was informed of the suspicion. Because he was hiding from the investigation, he was informed of the suspicion in absentia, after which he was placed on the wanted list.
