It is the legitimate right of China and Russia to pursue their own development and revival,” the Chinese ministry said.
Beijing is ready to promote cooperation with Moscow in various fields, as well as to bring it “to a higher level,” the ministry added.
As previously reported, Chinese Defense Minister Wei Fenghe had a telephone conversation with Shoigu. The parties “exchanged views on international and regional issues of mutual interest.”
In addition, Chinese leader Xi Jinping said Beijing is “ready to cooperate” with Washington to “find ways to find a common language for the benefit of both sides.”
