The hourly closing schedule in the Uman district is now impossible to build, Igor Taburets said.
In the Uman region there is a difficult situation in the supply of energy. The capacity shortfall is 50 MW, Cherkasy OVA head Igor Taburets said on Telegram on Thursday, October 27.
According to him, after the rocket attack on the energy facilities on October 22, the electricity transmission operator NEK Ukrenergo is delivering only 10 MW of electricity to the Uman substation. In addition, 5 mW is provided by the nearby area.
“That is, in total, Uman and the Umansky district receive 15 MW. The electricity deficit is 50 MW. The indicated 15 MW is used to power critical infrastructure: hospitals, water supply and hygiene businesses. The rest is distributed to the population: so that each consumer receives at least two hours a day Taking everything into account, it is impossible to make an hourly closing schedule now,” said Taburets .
He noted that all structures are working to stabilize the energy system. On Monday, Umanshchina should receive an additional 30 MW.
Earlier on Wednesday, after the night attacks of the Russian aggressors, Ukrenergo reported that due to damage to the energy infrastructure, restrictions on the supply of electricity were introduced in the regions of Kyiv, Kyiv, Chernihiv, Cherkasy and Zhytomyr.
Later it became known that the Kiev region was waiting for a longer blackout. The previously introduced power outage schedules are no longer relevant. Almost half of Kyiv may remain without electricity.
