Russian Deputy Ambassador to the UN Dmitry Polyansky said his country was allegedly “quite satisfied” with the meeting, as it was able to “raise the level of awareness.”

The Russian Federation initiated a meeting of the UN Security Council to discuss the issue of a “dirty bomb”, but did not provide new evidence on this topic. Reuters writes about it.

It was reported that on Tuesday, October 25, the UN Security Council held a closed meeting at the request of the Russian Federation, where it discussed the aggressor’s accusations against Ukraine of allegedly creating a “dirty bomb”, but the British Deputy Ambassador to the UN James Kariuki said that Russia has not provided new evidence to support their claims.

“We have not seen or heard any new evidence,” Kariuki told reporters.

He called the words of the Russian side “clearly false accusations.”

“This is just wasting our time. This is pure Russian disinformation, which we have seen many times before, and it must be stopped,” he stressed.

And Russian Deputy Ambassador to the UN Dmitry Polyansky said that his country was allegedly “quite satisfied” with the meeting, as it was able to “raise the level of awareness.”

“I don’t care about people who say that Russia is crying ‘Wolf!’ if it doesn’t happen, because it’s a terrible, terrible catastrophe that potentially threatens the whole Earth,” the Russian spokesman said.

Recall that the Russian mission to the UN circulated a letter to the UN Secretary General before this meeting, stating that Moscow would consider any use by Ukraine of the alleged “dirty bomb” as an “action of nuclear terrorism.”

Meanwhile, Russia claims Ukraine’s plan to use a “dirty bomb” – a device containing nuclear materials alongside conventional explosives – has been dismissed by Kyiv and its Western allies as a possible Moscow operation false flag.
