In de-occupied Kupyansk, despite the systematic shelling of the city by the Russian occupation forces, Kharkivgaz restored the damaged gas pipelines and began to connect residential buildings. This was reported by Kharkiv OVA on Tuesday, October 25.
“In just one day, Kharkivgaz specialists connected 1.5 thousand houses of Kupyansk residents to the energy source. Work continues on restoring gas supply to the private and multi-apartment sector of the city,” said report.
It was noted that almost 2.3 thousand households in the liberated communities of Izyumsky, Kupyansky, Chuguevsky, Kharkov districts of the region received natural gas the day before Monday.
Recall that on September 10, the Armed Forces of Ukraine entered Kupyansk. This city was occupied in the first days of the war.
It was also reported that electrical engineers managed to partially restore the power supply in Kupyansk.
