IAEA experts are preparing to visit these facilities in the coming days after receiving Ukraine’s request.

IAEA inspectors will soon visit two nuclear facilities in Ukraine amid Russian accusations of a “dirty bomb”. This was said by the CEO of the organization, Rafael Grossi, Reuters wrote.

He emphasized that the facilities are under the protection of the agency and are regularly inspected.

“The IAEA inspected one of these sites a month ago, and all our findings are in line with Ukraine’s safeguards declarations. No undeclared nuclear activities or materials were found there,” Grossi said. .

According to him, IAEA inspectors are preparing to revisit these sites in the coming days after receiving a request from Ukraine to identify “any possible undeclared nuclear activities and materials.”

It will be remembered that Russian propagandists, as well as Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu, began to spread “information” about the alleged presence of a “dirty bomb” in Ukraine.

The US, UK and France condemned these false statements.

Ukraine invited IAEA experts to verify Russia’s accusations of creating a “dirty bomb”.
