Iran is ready to cooperate in the investigation of the supply of Iranian drones to Russia

Official Iran, even after many accusations, continues to insist that it has not armed the Russian Federation.

Iranian Foreign Minister Hussein Amir-Abdollahian said his country is ready to send military experts to Ukraine to take part in the investigation, in which Tehran has been accused of sending kamikaze drones to Russia. On Monday, October 24, IRNA reported.

According to the publication, the head of the Iranian Foreign Ministry announced this at the 18th session of the General Assembly of the Association of News Agencies of the Asia-Pacific Region (OANA).

In particular, the diplomat confirmed his country’s readiness to conduct direct negotiations with Ukraine on this issue and said that he conveyed it to the head of the European Foreign Ministry, Josep Borrell.

“I stressed to Mr. Borrell that if … it becomes clear to us that Russia used Iranian drones in the war against Ukraine, we certainly will not remain indifferent to this issue,” Amir-Abdollahian said.

Earlier it was reported that those mobilized in Russia began to be provided with bulletproof vests and helmets of Iranian production.

It can be recalled that the United States, Britain and France recognized the supply of drones by Iran to Russia as a violation of the UN Security Council resolution that approved the 2015 nuclear deal between Iran and world powers.
