Since September 13, the Ukrainian military has shot down 273 Shahed-136 Iranian kamikaze drones. However, Russia is not only using them against Ukraine. This is what the speaker of the command of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Yuriy Ignat said in a briefing on October 23.
He noted that the Russian Federation uses two modifications of Shaheds against Ukraine – 136 and 131. The latter is smaller than the other models and has a small warhead. However, kamikaze drones remain precision-guided weapons that fly precisely and can hit a critical point, resulting in a lot of damage.
Ignat also said that the Ukrainian military shot down four more Mohajer-6 attack drones. One of them survived, it is now being studied by our specialists.
It will be remembered that in the past day, fighters of the Armed Forces of Ukraine “landed” 20 enemy drones.
