A number of generals and a company associated with arms production fell under British sanctions.
The UK has imposed sanctions on three Iranian generals and an arms company. The restrictive measures were applied due to the use of Iranian-made attack drones in the war against Ukraine. It was reported by Radio Liberty.
The list of sanctions was added by Shahed Aviation Industries. It produces the Shahed-136 UAV, or Geranium, as the Russians brand them. Using these devices, the invaders hit Ukraine’s critical civilian infrastructure.
Britain stressed that the drones were being supplied to Russia for use in an illegal invasion of Ukrainian territory.
Recall that on the eve of restrictive measures against Iran were introduced by the European Union. They were completed in a timely manner. They have entered the force.
