“The People’s Deputy of Ukraine of the VIII convocation organized a scheme, according to which the Odessa portside plant sold mineral fertilizers to a predetermined company at prices below market prices . Subsequently, the company resold the goods to foreign companies in the real sector economy at competitive prices. However, OPF provided physical delivery to these companies. The scheme was operated in March-December 2015, as a result , the OPF lost revenue of approximately UAH 93.3 million,” NABU said in a statement.
In March 2020, the investigation reported suspicions on four participants in the scheme: a trusted representative of the former people’s representative, the deputy director of JSC Odessa Port Plant, the head of the plant department, and the -owned by a non-resident company. participating in the corruption scheme.
Exnardeep’s confidant and the owner of the company participating in the scheme were placed on the wanted list.
As for the organizer of the scheme himself, since his whereabouts have not been established, he was informed of the suspicion in absentia.
