Ukrainians who fled this northern country after the war witnessed the spread of misinformation about the war.

Police in southern Finland have conducted an investigation into possible discrimination against Ukrainians on buses in the city of Joensuu. About this on Thursday, October 20, Yle wrote.

We are talking about the carrier Länsilinjat Oy from Tampere.

In particular, bus drivers are suspected of spreading Russian propaganda justifying the Russian Federation’s attack on Ukraine.

“The passengers of the Ukrainian bus found what they heard offensive and discriminatory,” the case file said.

According to the publication, the cases of interest to the police occurred in the spring and summer. The suspects are two bus drivers.

If found guilty, they could face fines and imprisonment of up to six months.

Recall that a mural dedicated to Ukraine appeared in Tbilisi, Georgia. It was created by Ukrainian artist Alexander Korban.
