In Belyaevka, Kherson region, a torture chamber built by the occupiers was found. The Russians kept the local residents and residents of the surrounding villages there. This was announced by the head of Novoaleksandrovsky community of Berislavsky district, Alexander Levechko, Radio Liberty reports.
Levechko said the torture chamber had no windows – only a door.
The community leader said that during the occupation, the Russians made door-to-door rounds, checked phones and equipment, often used physical force, kidnapped people, intimidated everyone and said that all the killings were the work of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. For example, in the village of Gavrilovka in the spring they killed a boy, and they said that it was done by a “sniper of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.” The boy’s father was kidnapped and threatened by the invaders.
