Jack White Recalls ‘Really Solid Advice’ He Received From The Prince –

One of Jack White’s encounters with music legend Prince made a big impression.

On “The Late Show” on Wednesday, White recalled “really solid advice” he received from the lead singer of “Purple Rain,” who died in 2016 at age 57.

It’s: “Don’t let anyone tell you how to play the guitar.”

The prince spoke words of wisdom as the couple talked about the upcoming party, White told presenter Stephen Colbert.

Colbert asked White if he had followed the prince’s advice.

“No. One of your guys told me he refused earlier, so maybe – he joked back.

White’s anecdote came at a time when he was talking about his label Third Man Records Next release of Prince’s 1986 unreleased album “Camille”. Which Prince brought to the last minute more than three decades ago, his recent impromptu scene at his wedding to musician Olivia Jean and his work on creating beautiful furniture during a corovar lock.
