The Verkhovna Rada adopted a law on the establishment of the Fund for the Elimination of the Consequences of Russian Aggression. It will finance restoration, reconstruction of buildings, restoration of electricity, gas and water supply, and will also carry out the purchase of property stolen by the Russians.
This was announced on October 19 by the people’s deputy from the “Voice” Yaroslav Zheleznyak in Telegram. 251 people’s deputies voted for this decision.
The law provides that all funds received from the nationalization of property and its sale will go to a special fund. The money from this fund will be used in agreement with the committee of the Verkhovna Rada.
It is planned that this Fund will finance:

construction of public buildings;

reconstruction and overhaul of critical infrastructure;

reconstruction and overhaul of housing for migrants;

development of project documentation;
-
purchase of housing for war victims;

purchase of equipment for educational institutions;

restoration of lighting, electricity and gas supply.
Recall that the Parliament will consider a draft law on the nationalization of Russia’s assets in Ukraine. The list compiled by the government includes 903 objects. The relevant list was prepared by the Cabinet of Ministers and approved by the National Security and Defense Council.
