The head of intelligence, Kirill Budanov, noted that by the end of this year, the Armed Forces of Ukraine will make significant progress.
The head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Kirill Budanov, believes that the war with the Russian Federation should end in the summer of next year, and after that Russia will face significant changes. He said this in an interview with the Observer.
The head of the Main Intelligence Directorate noted that by the end of this year, the Armed Forces of Ukraine will make significant progress.
“Until the end of the year, we will still make significant progress, it will be significant victories, you will see it soon … I hope it can be Kherson,” Budanov assured.
Budanov also predicts that “for starters” Ukraine should reach the borders of 1991, and after the end of the war, according to him, “a very serious political process” will begin, related to changes in Russia – some regions will disconnect from the Russian Federation.
“Moscow will pay reparations to us, it’s all waiting for them, it will lead to the transfer of a certain Russian economic center to our territory … there are many steps there,” said Budanov.
Territorial changes in the Russian Federation, according to Budanov, will begin with the detachment of the Caucasian regions, and then, according to him, Russia will “disintegrate”.
“Yes, there are many territorial problems,” the Russian Federation “is a name for federalism. It is a huge territory that has existed for a long time, it is not clear how within these borders. It depends only on faith in power of the regime. As soon as the regime fell, it all collapsed,” the GUR leader was convinced.
Earlier, GUR called the number of drones ordered by the Russian Federation from Iran.
