The soldiers of the mortar battery asked for help from the eastern front: they needed a modern, effective weapon to fight the enemy’s small drones.
The details of the unit’s work are that its mobile groups in pickup trucks approach the target at a distance of 6-7 km, fire 5-7 shots from the 120-mm mortar and leave. However, small reconnaissance drones, which appear more than the army of invaders, interfere with the fulfillment of tasks. In particular, the enemy uses them to detect and pursue the unit.
An effective method of combating such drones is the so-called “anti-drone gun” – a directional radio-technical device that intercepts the control signals of the drone operator. When blocked, the drone follows one of the built-in emergency instructions, such as making an emergency landing.
Experts recommend the EDM4S (Electronic Drone Mitigation System by NT Service) model for purchase.
