Lithuania sends heavy mortar to Ukraine

Lithuanian authorities delivered heavy mortars to Ukraine. Their exact number was not specified, but the total value of all transferred military support was tens of millions of euros, the BNS agency reported on April 21.

“We provided heavy mortars in support of Ukraine, I won’t name the number, but we handed over a lot,” Lithuanian Minister of National Defense Arvydas Anusauskas said.

According to him, Ukraine received not only Stinger MANPADS, but also other anti-tank, anti-aircraft weapons, ammunition, grenades, machine guns, etc.

“It’s hard to name them all. A month ago, I calculated that there were 35 positions in different forms,” ​​the Lithuanian minister specified.

Anusauskas specified that the amount of support provided was several tens of millions of euros.

Earlier, Estonia transferred a batch of weapons to Ukraine, including anti-tank missiles, howitzers and anti-tank mines.
