TG channels report the sounds of explosions in the regions of Zhytomyr and Chernihiv. In particular, military journalist Andrei Tsaplienko shared information.

“The explosions were reported in the regions of Zhytomyr and Chernihiv. He was initially working on air defense. The missiles seen over the Desna River were probably headed for Kyiv,” said one of the journalist’s messages.

There is no official confirmation on this topic yet.

In another message, the journalist writes about a fallen rocket.

“They say that a missile flying to Kyiv was shot down by aviation. Guys, thanks for saving lives,” Tsaplienko wrote.

A major air alert has now been declared in Ukraine.

Earlier it was reported that as a result of an enemy missile attack in the Romensky district of the Sumy region, at least three people were killed and nine were injured.
