The collection of operational information on the damage caused to the economy and infrastructure of the Lugansk region continues.
More than 11,200 houses, 479 industrial enterprises, 167 educational institutions and 64 hospitals were damaged or completely destroyed by Russia in the Lugansk region. This was announced by Serhiy Gaidai, head of the Luhansk OVA, on Telegram.
According to the OVA, the collection of operational information on the damage caused to the economy and infrastructure of the Luhansk region continues. According to preliminary data, due to continuous shelling and bombing, at least 167 educational institutions, 18 sports facilities, six social security institutions, 64 health institutions, 115 cultural institutions, 37 administrative buildings, seven TsNAP, seven train station, 48 life support facilities were damaged.
Residential buildings suffered the most from shelling and shelling by Russian artillery. According to rough estimates, 3,188 multi-storey buildings and 8,100 private estates were partially or completely destroyed.
Earlier, Sergei Gaidai said that the Russian invaders are trying to raze the villages of the region, which were recently liberated by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, to the ground.
