Death toll rises in mine explosion in Turkey

The death toll from an explosion at a coal mine in northern Turkey rose on Friday, killing 41. This is what Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said, CNN reports.

Earlier, Interior Minister Suleyman Soylu said that 58 of the 110 people working in the mine at the time of the explosion were evacuated by rescuers or managed to get out on their own, and also that one miner was discharged from the hospital, and 10 people were treated yet.
