The French government considers the fact of supplying Russia with kamikaze drones a violation of the nuclear deal.

The transfer of Iranian drones – kamikaze drones – to Russia is a violation of the UN Security Council resolution that approved the 2015 nuclear deal between Iran and world powers. This was said by the official representative of the French Foreign Ministry, Anne-Clair Legendre, according to Reuters.

He noted that UAVs are subject to the Missile Technology Control Regime, an informal political agreement between states aimed at limiting the proliferation of missiles and missile technology.

“We remember a large amount of information about the use of Iranian drones by the Russian armed forces in Ukraine. They are aimed at civilian targets, which is a war crime,” the French official said.

As already reported, the Dnepropetrovsk Regional Military District reported the destruction of four kamikaze drones in the Dnipro and Nikopol regions.

Recall that the air defense forces destroyed eight Iranian Shahed-136 kamikaze drones in the south and east direction.
