The UN General Assembly adopted a resolution on the territorial integrity of Ukraine. 143 countries voted “for” the adoption of this resolution, 5 – “against”, and another 35 – “abstained”.
Russia’s attempt to annex Ukrainian territories will never be recognized by independent countries. This was announced on Thursday, October 13, by the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky in Twitter.
Thus, the Ukrainian leader responded to the adoption by the United Nations General Assembly of a resolution on the territorial integrity of Ukraine.
“Thank you to all 143 states that supported the historic resolution of the UN General Assembly “Territorial Integrity of Ukraine: Protecting the Principles of the UN Charter”. The world has had its word: Russia’s attempt at annexation is worthless and will never be recognized by independent countries,” Zelensky stressed.
At the same time, he added that Ukraine will return all its lands.
It can be recalled that the General Assembly of the United Nations (UN) adopted a resolution condemning Russia’s illegal annexation of the territory of four regions of Ukraine.
Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the illegal annexation of four Ukrainian regions: Kherson, Zaporozhye, Lugansk and Donetsk. But the enemy army did not completely control any of them.
