Kyivans and residents of central regions are asked to continue to reduce the load on the network during peak hours, while the restoration continues.
Ukrenergo said that the power supply of Kyiv and the central regions of Ukraine has stabilized. This was announced on Wednesday evening, October 12, by the company’s press service.
It is noted that planned losses are likely to be avoided.
However, consumers in these regions continue to be urged to save electricity so that consumption levels in the energy system stop growing.
“So, we ask all consumers to take a careful approach to electricity consumption today: turn off unnecessary electrical appliances in the morning and at night, when electricity consumption is highest. This will reduce the load networks and facilitate the work of power engineers who renew them,” the company said.
“The latest rocket attack damaged a lot of electrical equipment, and we continue to restore it. There is a lot of work. The size and complexity of the damage in different regions is different, in an area where we need more many hours. Therefore, unfortunately, there are still schedules of emergency restrictions in Kharkiv, Sumy and Poltava regions,” added Ukrenergo.
Meanwhile, Khmelnytsky Terromad reported about the almost complete continuity of electricity supply. This was announced on Wednesday, October 12, by the head of OVA, Sergei Gamaly.
At the same time, he urged residents to reduce the load during peak hours, as the power supply is in emergency mode.
It will be remembered that Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal today once again appealed to Ukrainians with a call at night not to turn on powerful electrical appliances.
It will take months to repair the Lviv – Sadovaya substations
