Germany intends to transfer additional multiple rocket launchers and artillery installations to Ukraine.
In the coming weeks, the arsenal of the Armed Forces of Ukraine will be replenished with additional MARS II multiple launch rocket systems and PzH 2000 artillery mounts. This was announced on October 12 by the German Ministry of Defense.

The German agency did not disclose information about how many of these weapons will be transferred to Ukraine. Previously, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have already received these self-propelled guns and MLRS from Germany.
As you know, Mars II is a German multiple launch rocket system, which was adopted by the Bundeswehr in 1990. This tracked launcher is actually a licensed copy of the American M270 MLRS with minor modifications. Rocket projectiles of 227 or 237 mm caliber can hit targets at a distance of 45 to 70 km.
And the Panzerhaubitze 2000 is a German self-propelled artillery mount with an automatic charging system and a high level of automation of all systems. The standard ammunition of this self-propelled guns can hit targets at a distance of up to 30 km, and the ammunition of the installation consists of 60 rounds and 228 modular propellant charges.
In addition, the press service of the Ministry of Defense of the Netherlands reported that the country will transfer missiles for air and missile defense to the Armed Forces of Ukraine for 15 million euros. These munitions will be used in anti-aircraft installations, which will be provided to Ukraine by other states.
The only result that the path will achieve is that we will deliver even more because of these types of attacks, said Dutch Defense Minister Kaisa Ollongren.
Recall, on October 12, Minister of Defense of Ukraine Oleksiy Reznikov confirmed that Germany had already transferred to Ukraine the latest German IRIS-T anti-aircraft missile systems. NASAMS air defense systems should soon arrive from the United States of America.
