The Ministry of Energy intends to extend the current electricity tariffs, which expire on 30 October. This was announced by the head of the German department Galushchenko, writes Interfax-Ukraine.
“Nothing will change for the people. Tariffs will remain unchanged,” the minister said.
At the same time, he clarified that the Ministry of Energy is working on some changes to the PSO model to maintain tariffs.
As you know, today Ukrainians pay 1.44 UAH/kWh for electricity with a monthly consumption of 250 kWh inclusive and 1.68 UAH/kWh for volumes exceeding 250 kWh.
It will be remembered that on July 29, the Verkhovna Rada introduced a ban on raising gas and heat tariffs for the population. On August 18, the president approved the moratorium.
