The document created an effective mechanism for resolving possible crisis situations in a war.

Parliament adopted as a basis and in general a draft law on the withdrawal of systemically important banks from the market under martial law. This was reported by the portal of the Verkhovna Rada.

The document created an effective legal and non-selective (applicable to all systemically important banks) mechanism for resolving possible crisis situations in systemically important banks in a war, with the priority of maximizing state interests and clients of these banks.

Thus, in order to simplify the general procedure for withdrawing a bank from the market, which is burdensome for current conditions, the procedure for withdrawing a systemically important bank from the market in the event that such bank fails of liquidity during martial law in Ukraine was optimized.

In addition, the features of state participation in the procedure for withdrawing such a bank from the market are established.

As you know, 14 financial institutions are included in the list of systemically important banks. Among them are Oschadbank, Privatbank, Ukrgasbank, Ukreximbank, UkrSibbank, Raiffeisen Bank.

Recall that Natsank decided to liquidate Bank Sich.

It is also reported that Oschadbank has announced losses in the billions due to the war.
