As a result of the Russian missile attack on residential buildings in Zaporozhye, two people died. This was announced on October 6 by the head of the regional military administration, Alexander Starukh.
He emphasized that the data is preliminary.
“One woman died. Another died in an ambulance. There are at least five people under the rubble of houses,” Starukh stressed.
According to him, many people were rescued, including a three-year-old girl who was hospitalized.
“A rescue operation is underway at the scene,” the OVA chief added, warning that the possibility of repeated rocket attacks was still high.
According to the First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Yevgeny Enin, units of the State Emergency Service rescued 16 people in the morning, and they are looking for three more under the rubble.
