The Chechen leader also said that the Russian military is now conducting successful offensive operations in Ukraine and is liberating key strategic points one by one.
The leader of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, said on Wednesday, October 5, that Russian President Vladimir Putin awarded him the rank of colonel general and called it a great honor. Kadyrov spoke about it on Telegram.
“The President of Russia awarded me the rank of Colonel General. Decree No. 709 was issued. Vladimir Vladimirovich personally informed me of this and congratulated me. I am deeply grateful to our Supreme Commander-in-Chief for the high regard for my merits! This is a great honor for me. I give my word that I will justify the trust placed in advance,” said Kadyrov.
He also said that today the Russian military is “conducting successful offensive operations in” DNR “and in the Kherson region, they are liberating settlements and strategically important points one by one.”
Recall that a few days before it was reported that Kadyrov and the owner of PMC Wagner Yevgeny Prigozhin openly undermined Putin’s authority by criticizing the Russian military command due to the defeat of the Russian Federation near Liman.
It was previously known that the invaders in the Kherson region retreated 30 km a day. Russian troops almost completely left the Kharkov region and retreated to the north of the Kherson region.
